Needs: Children's ministry in 2 locations: Metro Baptist Church in Manhattan and Greater Restoration Baptist Church in Brooklyn
Partnership: Smoke Rise has partnered with Metro Baptist church in Hells Kitchen area of Manhattan and Greater Restoration Baptist in the Crown Heights area of Brooklyn for several years. This partnership extends beyond the summer mission trips to allow Smoke Rise to help both congregations find ways to continue to effectively meet the needs of their communities. Our desire is to serve the leaders of both congregations, Pastor Ken Bogan at Greater Restoration and associate pastor Tiffany Triplett-Henkle at Metro. We have assisted them with staff support, Christmas projects, summer day camps, facility needs and summer missionary support.
