The Academy offers private music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels in the areas of piano, organ, flute, trumpet, trombone, French horn, baritone, solo guitar, harp, violin, viola, cello, clarinet, saxophone, and voice.
The Academy offers classes for children, teenagers, and adults. We offer drama classes for children and youth, a week long mini tap ballet camp for 3-6 year-aids (June 19-23), and oil painting for older teens and adults. All lessons and classes are taught on the premises of Smoke Rise Baptist Church within the church buildings, giving your child the opportunity to attend private lessons during day camp hours. Drama classes are offered on Monday evenings. Academy Instructors hold at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in their field, with many having graduate degrees Attached is the summer enrollment form for private music lessons.
The registration fee for private lessons is waived for Smoke Rise summer day campers. Class forms for drama, dance, and oil painting are available through the Academy office.
