We have been open since 1995. Our average employee is 30+ and our typical employee has been working at camp for over 5 years. We conduct all field trips in small family groups of 1 staff to 6 or 8 campers.
Camp is structured with divisions for ages 6-8, ages 9-12 and ages 13-16. While we share space and activities, each group has it's own team leader, transportation and age appropriate activities.
Our ”Spirit” camps, age 6 (by 9/1) to age 12, includes field trips, swimming, crafts, music, recreation, Summer Bridge academics, CRCT training where appropriate, daily chapel with “Faith Weaver” lessons and games in a nondenominational Christian setting for an active and challenging summer.
Our “Back Hall Bunch” teens focus on spiritual and personal growth through creative competition in team building and academics which focus on fun math and science with direct instruction for SAT preparation. Community experiences expose our teens to disabilities and disadvantages that challenge us all. Rock climbing, Six Flags and an active program of Christian recreation, academics, study and service create a summer experience that will challenge and interest any teen.
