Dear Academy Student(s) and Parents,

Welcome to the Academy of Arts 17^th year of private and class instruction! The Academy of Arts administration and instructors look forward to greeting our returning students and new enrollees. We are once again eager to hear our halls full of music and artistic expression.

Online registration – After last year’s transition to online registration, we have worked out many of the bugs and are continuing with online registration. All registrations are required to be made online this year for both classes and private lessons. If you do not have computer access, there is a kiosk set-up in the breezeway near the Academy office for this purpose. We will be happy to assist you regarding any registration issues or difficulties. For those of you who have existing accounts with us, you will need to log into your account to register for all of your lessons and classes this year.

Please read all materials carefully and retain the Smoke Rise Academy of Arts Policies and Procedures as well as the 2008-2009 Calendar for both private and class instruction. All information regarding lessons and classes is available here on our website: www.smokeriseminsitries.org

Private Instruction: When selecting your preferences regarding private study, please know that every effort will be made to accommodate all students. As much as we would like to, we cannot guarantee your first preference of day and time. We will be scheduling new students and appreciate your flexibility. You will be able to continue your study with your previous/current instructor. You and your instructor will need to communicate directly in order to schedule lessons. If changes are needed, your instructor will do everything he/she can to work with you to find a time that is suitable. Although registration is ongoing, registrations received by August 1st will be given priority scheduling.
